General Expectations:
- Monday – Friday (8am – 4pm) for first 6 months, then a 4-day work week thereafter, contingent on performance review.
- Rotating emergency on call:
- Weeknights (4pm-8am), weekends (Fri. 4pm – Mon. 8am)
- Average 1-2 nights per week, every 3rd weekend
- Holidays, rotating
- Rotating in-house foaling duty – January – June (6mo), optional
- Doctors are responsible for conducting daily business in a courteous and professional manner, presenting themselves in a tidy fashion, and maintaining timely client communication and accurate medical recordkeeping.
- Gossip, slanderous speech, verbal and/or physical harassment of or aimed toward coworkers or clients will not be tolerated.
- This practice works collaboratively to enhance the level of care that we provide to all patients. Our doctors do not maintain their own client base, rather the client loyalty is to the practice. This methodology allows our team culture to persist and promotes the ideal of work-life balance in our profession.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of post-graduate experience in equine practice
- PA state veterinary license
- Valid driver’s license
- USDA APHIS accreditation
- Be professional and courteous, and have a great attitude.
